my week in objects (mostly.)
stubby birthday candles, house-guest lilies, and a stoop-found corkboard.
1. these birthday candles.
{but mostly james.}
2. this hard-necked garlic.
{and the roughly four other heads consumed this week.}
3. these faces.
{it’s been at least 35 years with these critters now and i’ll never tire of them.}
4. these dinner-guest lilies.
{but especially the dinner guest.}
5. this found corkboard.
{and a percolating project.}
other things:
well then it’s everything. a talisman.
come for the theme song; stay for the convo.
the answer is plastic. and, underneath that, the answer is oil and gas.

Love the “the answer is plastic article.” But if you want a chuckle, read the comments where someone uses an example of a tool to cut grapes in half as unnecessary and then someone comments below it that they love their grape cutter. I almost spit out my drink. It was too perfect. 😂
