my week in objects (mostly).

lavender, grains, and searching for signs.

1. this seven-grain cereal.

{and eating it every morning this week.}

2. these fresh buds.

{and the afternoon sun.}

3. this little spoon.

{brought back into use.}

4. this lavender tea.

{and the friends who urged me to drink it.}

5. these cards.

{and looking for divine signs everywhere.}

other things:

i can relate to very few duchesses.

two billion people…unified in self discipline and empathy for those less fortunate.

you don’t actually have to throw anybody under the bus.

consider…how history will treat you and your apathy.

what do we do with the men who do not even dare taste or touch these conversations?

resistance is everywhere.

willingness to take a hit in service of something bigger and more urgent.
