On a Saturday morning walk through the Brooklyn Botanic Garden with my toddler last week, we met the caretaker of the Children’s Garden and not only did she let us use the bathroom for an emergency pee break, but she showed my daughter the raspberries growing in the garden and let her pick/eat as many as she wanted. Kiddo had never seen fruit on the actual plant before, it was such a beautiful moment.
