That Guardian article - thanks so much for sharing. We have items in our kitchen from the kitchens of two of our grandmas and I love thinking of them when I use their measuring spoons and bowls and hot pads and serving spoons. I also have an assortment of matching tea cups and saucers from my grandma that I always intend to use more than I do - sigh. But I do love seeing them every day in a glass fronted cabinet.
