my week in objects (mostly).
tulips, q-tips, and other things.
1. local tulips.
{worth every bit of wait, every tulip-less day.}
2. these q-tips.
{for serving a very specific and much-needed purpose.}
3. this small reminder.
{of continued struggle and continued resilience.}
4. these quite spicy pickles.
{for being quite spicy.}
5. these keys.
{for slowly getting cleaner.}
other things:
you straight up don’t have to participate.
endorsing the status quo is never seen as ideological.
when sustainability and budgets collide.
kitchen objects (!). (TY Ann Friedman)

That Guardian article - thanks so much for sharing. We have items in our kitchen from the kitchens of two of our grandmas and I love thinking of them when I use their measuring spoons and bowls and hot pads and serving spoons. I also have an assortment of matching tea cups and saucers from my grandma that I always intend to use more than I do - sigh. But I do love seeing them every day in a glass fronted cabinet.
the sarah musa scarf is so beautiful, thank you for sharing!
