First off, Happy Birthday 🤍

Secondly, My home was built in 1935…when I moved in there were doors in the basement that had been taken down. Each has a set of small brass door knobs. They could use to be cleaned up, but they might be what you are looking for. I have no way to send you pictures, but if you are interested, they’re yours !

Happy birthday. Are you a 7.2 child? ‘Cause I am and I am glad to share my day with you. (I also have a weird selection of doorknobs if you need some. Mostly glass, early century but they would be free. Just let me know. Also have four solid core oak doors I saved from my house that was being renovated by the purchaser. Couldn’t let them go into the bin. No idea what I will ever do with them or how to get them to anyone who needs them, but they are free to a good home. lol.

A fellow birthday-celebrant of this week & and of the early 40s varietal, happy happy. A season of summer shifts (blossoming wet fresh summer to drying out and producing the fruits, seeds and the berries, over here in the PNW), and a decade of shifting perspectives. With warmth and encouragement for the murkiness of life/age/home shifts!

Happy Birthday!

I turned 41 in June. It's not so bad, and also terrifying, but mostly not so bad.

Wishing you the happiest of birthdays! I love how in a few words you make summer in your world come alive. Glad you are out of the city for a bit. I hope it's restorative with all you've had on your plate.
