I love that fire escape photo. Also, I like the reminder to light candles. It has been so dreary this week and when sunset is at 3:58 pm, it’s a bit rough on the spirit.
All of these enthusiasms are so pleasant to think about, and be distracted by, on a day when, here in LA, international students are warned to be "in place" on the USC campus on 1/20/25 to ensure their safety.
This is where we are, where other people have decided we should be, and would that crafts and other forms of creativity could save us.
